This is a loss for the area\u2019s history because it has always been known as a large player in the canning industry and a loss for area workers. It\u2019s always sad to see a plant close; however, people are eating fewer canned products in favor or fresh and frozen and Campbell\u2019s Soup must respond to the market.<\/p>\n<p>When a plant closes, no matter what the company chooses to do with the machinery or equipment inside the plant, a <a href=\"https:\/\/nebbinstitute.wordpress.com\/2010\/05\/12\/getting-a-cmea-designation\/\">certified machinery and equipment appraiser (CMEA)<\/a> has an important role to play.
