Now that President Obama\u2019s Affordable Care Act<\/a> survived a Supreme Court challenge, many of its major provisions are poised to go into effect in 2014. That means that a whole lot of patients will be entering the healthcare system, and those people will need doctors, nurses, and other types of healthcare workers. As a result, the healthcare industry is preparing to bring a lot of new workers on board. The other thing that the industry will need to support all of the new patients is infrastructure.<\/p>\n

This is good news for machinery and equipment appraisers<\/a> because as the industry expands, there will be a need for more MRI machines, lab equipment, surgical equipment, and everything else a medical facility needs to run efficiently and effectively. All of this new equipment will need appraisals as medical facilities conduct business evaluations, sell old equipment, and purchase new and used equipment.<\/p>\n
