Approximately 250 purchasing leaders were invited to participate in a survey covering purchasing skills and skill development. The survey overwhelmingly illustrated a problem facing the purchasing profession today:<\/p>\n<\/div>

Online Training To Triple<\/strong><\/p>\n With convenience being a prevalent theme among the survey responses, it is not a surprise that the average company will increase its spending on online purchasing training to $2,310 this year from $840 last year. Online classes allow students to receive their training via the Internet. Students can participate in this training at the time and place most convenient for their schedules: during lunch hours, the least busy time of the work day, evenings, weekends, from the office, at home, on the road, etc.<\/p>\n Recommended Reading<\/strong><\/p>\n
