What I love about this article and Tim\u2019s approach is that it makes it clear that creating a should cost model isn\u2019t necessarily the end of a process. Instead, it is often a means to an end \u2013 using the should cost model to persuade a supplier to offer a lower price.<\/p>\n<p>Much of the information on should cost models that is out there totally misses this point.
