CLTC Celebration of Long-Term Care Awareness Month featured in Yahoo Finance
The Certification for Long-Term Care (CLTC®) and its annual commemoration of Long-Term Care Awareness Month was recently featured in Yahoo Finance, highlighting the organization’s commitment to shedding light on the evolving landscape of long-term care.
The article, CLTC Shines Light on Long-Term Care Awareness Month, detailed some of CLTC’s initiatives to raise awareness by delving into key aspects of long-term care and emphasizing the critical role that CLTC plays in empowering extended care planning professionals to navigate the complexities of this vital sector.
“All of CLTC’s activities underscore the importance of planning for extended care, particularly this month. Understanding the impact family caregiving can have on an individual and how that experience may influence their own planning can help extended care planning professionals have better conversations with their clients,” says Celeste Cobb, CLTC’s Director of Education.
CLTC is one of the portfolio companies under The Certitrek Group, a trailblazer in professional training and certifications. The company offers a diverse array of certification programs spanning business, finance, healthcare, and technology, aimed at facilitating professional development opportunities for both companies and individuals. In preparation for the annual observance, CLTC put together consumer awareness pages, a quiz game, and a webinar renowned dementia educator Teepa Snow. It also included the results of a survey of 800 family caregivers presented at the 2023 CLTC Leadership Summit in Chicago.
