CHARLESTON, S.C. — September 1, 2025 — The Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts (IDFA®) has announced the official launch of CDFA Connect 2026, a regional, one-day networking and professional development event for Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®) professionals and related financial planning and legal experts. The conference will take place on March 20, 2026, at the Hyatt House Charleston / Historic District in Charleston, South Carolina, with both in-person and live-stream options available.

Designed to bring cutting-edge content and unmatched networking closer to professionals nationwide, CDFA Connect 2026 is the first stop in a series of regional events IDFA will host to make continuing education more accessible and impactful.

“This format is all about proximity and relevance,” said Kristen Shearin, Director of Education at IDFA. “Our goal is to equip CDFA professionals with hands-on, case-based tools they can apply immediately in their practices—whether attending in person or joining us online.”

Practical Learning, Powerful Insights

High-impact sessions and peer-led discussions anchor the day’s agenda. Keynote speaker Sarah Hubbard is CEO of the Intentional Network. Most people waste time networking… but not anymore. Sarah Hubbard specializes in teaching people in the financial services and legal industry how to transform awkward small talk into powerful, profitable connections. Networking isn’t just about collecting business cards — it’s about creating real opportunities. Sarah developed a Network MAPPing framework — a system that helps professionals build genuine connections that actually lead to business growth.”

We are going to start off the day learning how to network and create connections and then we are going to implement her system in our networking breakout sessions throughout the day.
