Yesterday, I had the pleasure of doing one of my all-time favorite NLPA activities: presenting the annual Purchasing & Supply Management Salaries webinar!
I always put my heart and soul into discovering new characteristics that influence purchasing and supply management salaries. And I always get charged up when I get to reveal good news in the profession. Such was the case yesterday when I revealed that both purchasing and supply management salaries and bonuses hit all time highs!
I introduced some new salary metrics, explored controversial aspects of salaries, shed light on some trends that reversed, and revealed some shocking findings. If you missed the event, no worries. The “Purchasing & Supply Management Salaries in 2018” report is available for download. It has all of the same, juicy details as the webinar.
As many of you know, I founded the NLPA in 2000 and led the organization to its acquisition by the Certitrek Group in 2016. As part of the acquisition agreement, I agreed to stay on-board on a part-time advisory basis for a two-year period. That period ends in November 2018. So, this looks to be the last purchasing and supply management salary research that I’ll be publishing. It has been a fun ride. I’d like to thank all of you who have read my salary reports and attended my salary webinars. I’ll have fond memories of the interactions we’ve had as we’ve together shared fascinating characteristics of salaries in this wonderful, exciting profession.
