Every appraisal report is signed by an individual.
If you have ever read any appraisal report – business appraisal, real estate appraisal, machinery and equipment, and other such reports – you will notice that there is at least one signature on each USPAP compliant report.
That signature shows who is claiming responsibility for all of the conclusions drawn from the pertinent data analyses. It shows who is the one to talk to if there are any questions regarding that appraisal.
Let us teach you how to sign your own business appraisal reports confidently!

Obtain the Business Certified Appraiser (BCA) Designation
The Business Certified Appraiser (BCA) designation is recognized by the United States’ Small Business Administration (SBA) as a ‘Qualified Source’ to provide business appraisals for their loan programs.
Our valuation experts are also trained to provide business appraisals for a variety of other purposes – such as Divorce, Estate or Gift Taxes, Partner Buyouts, Shareholder Oppression cases – and just about any purpose where a small business owner is asking the question, “What is my business worth?” Or even the question, “What is a piece of my business worth?”
